This is my second France Luxe barrette of this size. I love the variety of styles and the unusual patterns. But both barrettes had the same problem with the clasp. It pulls a few strands of hair every time I remove it. They get stuck in the deepest part of the “fold” versus “secure” side of the clasp and pull out. Even being careful to try and avoid this problem, it always pulls a few strands out. This is enough of a concern that I will not buy anymore with the gold metal clasp. BTW, a smaller sized France Luxe barrette did not have any clasp issues, only the 3 inch ones.
